Awesome Album!!! Aug 16, 2007

I have been listening to most of these songs online, impatiently waiting for the album to be released! I can't choose between Country Man, You Make Me Want To, or I'll Stay Me as my favorite song. I've also had the pleasure of hearing Luke sing these live during an acoustic set, not one disappointment in the bunch!

Like Fresh Country Air!! Sep 07, 2007

"Jeepin Life is Good!"
Ok, just saw Luke live in a very small place in PA. We paid $12 to get get in to see him, got this CD, autographs and pictures. Best money I ever spent for a concert and CD. This guy is great! He was also there with Mike and Kristy Jo. Met and talk to them all. They couldn't have been nicer. Do not misunderstand, he is NOT Rascal Flatts or Keith Urban...I like them too but he is a breath of fresh COUNTRY air!! He's different. Luke is GENUINE and FUN! Did I mention GENUINE?? The songs are by him and about him. He is not one of those guys the record company created to sell on country radio. He was rejected by Capital twice and then they came to their senses. Truly entertaining, GO SEE HIM if he's in your area! This guy is just what country music needs right now, a little bit of a throw back to old country music...Talented, Fun, and oh yeah GENUINE. This is a great CD and I predict big things for this guy. "All my friends say" is great, but "We rode in trucks" will be his next BIG single!

good album Mar 09, 2009
By J. Lewis First off, I am not a modern country fan. In fact, most country music made in the last 10 years i cannot stand. Being from the south, I prefer traditional country music and not radio rock with a country accent. My step-brother went to georgia southern with luke and recommened that I check him out. I was impressed. It has a bit of modern soung to it but it still has old country roots. Some of the lyrics start to get a bit cliche for me at times, but overall I like his music.

nice all the way through Feb 25, 2009
By C. Holstead I ordered this CD because I had heard a few of the songs on the radio and liked them. What I found when listening to the CD is that every track is easy to listen to and enjoyable through and through!

Grab some sweet tea and turnip greens Aug 22, 2007

"Music Junkie"
Luke Bryan has been basking in the warm glow of the spotlight as of late. His song "Good Directions", recorded by Billy Currington, was a multi-week #1, his own single, "All My Friends Say", is burning up the charts, and the video is getting tons of airplay on CMT and GAC. Not bad for a peanut farmer from Leesburg, Georgia.
Bryan has it ALL. Boyish charm, a great voice with a sexy drawl, and a way with words. "All My Friends Say" is a raucous new spin on the kiss-off, about a guy who wakes up and can't remember what happened the night before, so he calls his buddies to tell him "what went down". "Baby's On The Way" is about a guy getting ready for his first date with a girl he really likes. "The Car In Front Of Me" is a beautiful ballad and shows Bryan's range. "Pray About Everything" is the only song he didn't write, and it's a cool uptempo about taking life as it comes and not worrying about things. The title track is about being happy the way you are. "Country Man" is a fun come on, and "Tackle Box" is about a guy remembering the stories his Grandpa told him when they went fishing.
It is a wonderful debut. Definitely worth the wait. I can't get it out of my head. He's a talented writer and cheek pinch adorable, so you can't go wrong!
