Wrangler Rugged Wear Carpenter Jean Mar 27, 2011
By Ole Emil This pair is a replacement order for a very similar but different pair that I returned due to the tool pocket opening being too small to accept my cell phone and the belt loop opening being small relative to a couple of my wider belts. This pair can be identified by the small tool pocket being the same width as the large tool pocket. The returned pair had a small tool pocket that was narrower than the larger tool pocket.
Pros: The fabric weight is compatible with Florida temperatures. The back pockets are deep enough to hide my dollar bill length wallet. The larger tool pocket will accept my cell phone, a Samsung Convoy.
Cons: The smaller tool pocket is not deep enough for anything except items you won't mind losing. I cut off the hammer loop as serving no useful purpose to anyone, including carpenters. If you know one that is still employed, ask them.
They're ok... Apr 04, 2012
By theElectrical These jeans are better than the Wrangler Carpenter jeans sold at Walmart, but they sure don't fit as well. Disappointing!

I have worn out my old Wrangler Carpenter jeans, and wanted to replace them. They were a little tight, but okay - I went one size up with these new ones, but can barely get them on!
I'm giving three stars because the ones I had were very comfortable and wore well. However, the sizing doesn't seem to be consistent. I guess I should go to a brick & mortar store for pants so I can try them on before buying.
Low quality fabric. Jan 12, 2012
By K. L. Swayne I purchased two pair of these jeans to replace older Wranglers that have lasted forever. One pair started to separate near the left pocket at a rivit after a few wearings. The other pair let loose during the first few hours. I also had found pumice and gravel in the pockets when they first arrived. Weangler seems to have let up on Quality Control. I am very glad that I had made the purchase from Amazon. They helped me right away to make the return. 1 star for Wrangler - 5 Stars for Aman at Amazon. (I just ordered some Lee jeans.)

By bakinbob Delivered in timely manner but the fit was too tight on my thighs and i couldn't get my hands in the tight and shallow pockets.
